- Cursei o mestrado em design na Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial / UERJ (2007/2009);
- Possuo graduação em Comunicação Visual pela Faculdade da Cidade (1988). Cursei Comunicação Visual na Escola de Belas Artes /UFRJ (1980/1984) e Comunicação Social/Publicidade pela UNISUAM/RJ (1978/1979);
- Sou sócio / diretor de arte / designer gráfico do STUDIO BETO LIMA Design & Comunicação;

- I worked at Slogan / Porto and EURORSCG Design / Lisbon, as Art Director and Graphic Designer while in Portugal, 1996, having also been sent to work in Madrid, Valence, Paris and London;
- Participation in workshops as a lecturer about design and communication in Design and Advertising Universities;
- Member of THE ART DIRECTORS CLUB OF NEW YORK / USA since 1994.
- In 1998, I worked as a Graphic Design professor in the intensive design course at the ESPM - Superior School of Publicity and Marketing / Rio;
